Linn County Record Contacts

Custody status, release records, court orders, state corrections files, and supervision questions belong with different public offices. Use the Linn County Jail for an immediate local custody question and a written LCSO request for durable booking or release proof. Oregon DOC, Community Corrections, VISOR, and the court each handle their own records. These contacts route a question to the office that created or retains the needed information. The private site itself cannot access an agency file or confirm a person's status.

This is a private reference site, not a government office. We cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bail, or retrieve an official record. Contact the responsible public office directly.

Immediate Status or Documentary Proof

Call the jail for a present operational question. Use a written records request when you need a durable booking, release, or movement record. Public counter hours do not limit when custody work may occur and do not promise a standard release time.

Route the question by record type:

  • For one released person or a release record, use the home search and records path.
  • For supervision, contact Linn Community Corrections at 1117 Jackson Street SE, Albany, 541-967-2005, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:30 p.m., closed noon-1:00 p.m.

  • For an exact recent-release interval, follow the 24-hour request method; Linn County has no public recent-release feed.
  • For youth custody or transition, contact OYA or the authorized juvenile-system professional, not the adult roster.
